Welcome to the Hawthorne Pride Alliance website which is designed to keep the community informed of the activities that the HPA ("Hawthorne Pride Alliance") does to encourage understanding and inclusivity within the community. The Hawthorne Pride Alliance was developed to dedicate, to motivate, and to celebrate the members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. The Hawthorne Pride Alliance is an independent organization and it is not affiliated, nor shall it be affiliated or endorsed by any political party, religious group, or governmental agency. The President, Vice President, and members in good standing will fill the Alliance in a non-partisan manner choosing residents who want to work to bridge the gap between the LGBTQ+ community and the community at large. Through education, visibility, and presence, the Hawthorne Pride Alliance will work together with members of the LGBTQ+ community, and their allies, in a nonpartisan manner to educate, motivate, appreciate, elevate, dedicate, and inspire the LGBTQ+ community.

Today, on World AIDS Day, we stand united in remembrance, solidarity, and hope. We honor those we have lost, celebrate the resilience of those living with HIV, and reaffirm our commitment to end stigma and discrimination.

Let this day remind us that progress is possible when we choose compassion over ignorance and action over silence. Advances in treatment and prevention have transformed lives, yet the journey is far from over. Together, we can continue to build a world where everyone has access to care, support, and the dignity they deserve.

Be a voice for change. Educate, advocate, and empower—because every life matters. ❤️

HPA is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization that is run entirely by volunteers.
