Welcome to the Hawthorne Pride Alliance website which is designed to keep the community informed of the activities that the HPA ("Hawthorne Pride Alliance") does to encourage understanding and inclusivity within the community. The Hawthorne Pride Alliance was developed to dedicate, to motivate, and to celebrate the members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. The Hawthorne Pride Alliance is an independent organization and it is not affiliated, nor shall it be affiliated or endorsed by any political party, religious group, or governmental agency. The President, Vice President, and members in good standing will fill the Alliance in a non-partisan manner choosing residents who want to work to bridge the gap between the LGBTQ+ community and the community at large. Through education, visibility, and presence, the Hawthorne Pride Alliance will work together with members of the LGBTQ+ community, and their allies, in a nonpartisan manner to educate, motivate, appreciate, elevate, dedicate, and inspire the LGBTQ+ community.

Joining with other like minded organizations, we, as the PAPC, firmly believe in and support freedom of speech, as well as the equal treatment of all individuals. We stand united against any form of bullying or hate speech, as such behavior has no place in our community. Therefore, we will be participating in the widespread blackout of all social media for the next 48 hours. Regular updates and information about our upcoming events will resume on Wednesday, January 22.

HPA is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization that is run entirely by volunteers.
